  • Connect families with needed services.
  • Connect families with items available at each advocate location (used clothing, food, school supplies, bus information & help.
  • Be a liaison between parents and school system as to encourage better communication.
  • Evaluate family needs.
  • Devise case plan for families to meet realistic and attainable goals for self sufficiency.
  • Perform home visits when necessary.
  • Attend workshops/classes to gain a better knowledge and understanding of child abuse, neglect, family needs etc.
